These include hemostatic products that contain fibrinogen and thrombin, products of tissue glue and wound healing, hemostatic products that contain gelatin and thrombin, synthetic tissue glue that is used to stick vessel anastomoses in vessel surgery, products that have been developed for preventing adhesions that may result from abdominal surgery, control of bleeding during surgery, collagen leaves that are used for tissue support and integrity, products of collagen origin that are used in neurosurgery to create matrix for dura regeneration and repair, and synthetic bone grafts developed for replacing bone deficiency resulting from some orthopaedic operations.
